We're really excited about all the wonderful stuff going on this month. We are bringing in new products and bringing back fun events! It's not officially cold yet, but we're ready to get back into knitting....knitting night, anyone? Also, the 10:45am baby group on Wednesdays has developed a loyal following...come play with us!
YES, we do offer layaway. We've had several folks ask about this recently and the answer is definitely "YES!"
The Summer Sale items will only be out for the rest of this week.
We'll be rotating them out to make room for all of the great new products that are arriving this month, including: thermal socks and tights, local handknit winter hats, Knuckleheads' fabulous kid fedoras, even MORE burt's bees mama & baby products , the best dang teething gel, wide mouth Klean Kanteens, US made/BPAfree bathtubs, fresh stock of plain Moby wraps... seriously, if you haven't visited in a while you might want to stop by and see all the new stuff.

Programs
Sling Trial rentals:
Rent slings a carriers to help you find the carrier that works best for your family. Sling rentals are $5/per carrier for a 2 week period. We will remind you when your carrier is due back. Late fees are $1/per day. All payments must be made by credit card. One 2 week rental per carrier brand, per person.
Lending Library:
Come borrow a book! This is a FREE program and anyone with a valid local id is welcome to borrow from the library. We've got more books! Organic Body Care Recipes, The Birth Partner, Loving Without Spoiling... just begging to be borrowed!
Play Group Schedule during store hours
Wednesdays- 10:45am-11:45am Baby Play & Explore (recommended for ages 0-18months)
Thursdays- 11:00am-12:00am Toddler Play & Story time (recommended for ages 18months-3yrs)
Fridays- 4:45-5:45pm Pre-school Romp (recommended for ages 3-5)

Thursday September 3rd 6-8pm Cloth Diaper & Sling workshop- In 2009 every 1st Thursday we will be holding a cloth diaper workshop and baby wearing tutorial.
We have experienced a growing interest in cloth diapers in the area and want to encourage their use. We will first show you the different methods of cloth diapering and which products are recommended for them. There will be examples of each. We know many families in the area that already use cloth & are encouraging them to attend to help us answer questions and share their expertise. It’s easier than you think and cheaper than using disposables!(not to mention better for the planet)

Just an excuse to enjoy a little quiet time with some other parents! Knitters, crocheters, quilters & scrapbookers bring a project, but everyone is welcome.
